Dr. Richard L Golden is currently residing in Georgetown, Guyana. He relocated to Guyana because of the love he has for the Guyanese Community. He currently has resigned from practice and obtained his Doctorate Degree in Theology as he has decided that he would pursue the studies if Biblical History and Theory of Different Religious Sectors. Dr. Golden met his wife Alana in 1992 in California. They were married in Gilbert Arizona in 1993. As she was from Guyana, and while visiting her family in Guyana, he fell in love with the culture and saw a need to remain.
As Guyana has several different religious beliefs, he has found an opportunity to research and broaden his educational experience in human behavior, in a multi-cultural religious country.
Dr. Richard Golden obtained the Bachelor of Science degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of California of San Diego in 1982. He received the Master of Science degree in Computer Software Design from Brown University in 1986, and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Brown University in 1987. Dr. Golden was an Andrew Mellon Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh from 1987-1988, and a D Post-doctoral Scholar at Stanford University from 1988-1990. He was a member of the editorial board of Neural Processing Letters from 1990-1993.
My Home Pages and what I am doing now. I am a Private Investigator in Guyana now and enjoying the work, it is very interesting to see how many people contact me from the USA wanting me to follow their spouses around to see if they are cheating. So much mistrust in Guyanese Families. This is real research!
